Completely renovated in 2014, Rosgorm offers luxurious holiday accommodation for up to 6 guests in a traditional whitewashed cottage in the heart of the village, just a few minutes' walk from all local amenities. The house has state of the art underfloor heating throughout and is fully insulated to ensure a cosy home whatever the weather. There is a spacious entrance hall with door to a cloakroom with toilet and wash basin, plenty of hanging space for coats and a rack for shoes and boots. The entrance hall leads into a large open plan kitchen dining room with a high spec modern fitted kitchen and a table sitting 6 people comfortably. The kitchen has all Neff appliances including induction hob, multifunction oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee machine and a quooker boiling water tap.
Three steps lead down from the kitchen into the garden room which has a sofa/day bed, a wall mounted smart TV connected to the internet and glass sliding doors leading onto the garden and patio. There is also a door to the utility area housing a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying room. Double doors from the dining area lead to the cosy lounge with wood burning stove, large leather sofas, HD TV and small writing desk and chair. TVs have freeview channels and there is free WiFi for guests.
Upstairs there are three double bedrooms, two with double beds and one with king size bed and ensuite shower room. All have plenty of drawer and hanging space, beds with high quality pocket sprung mattresses and pure cotton bed linen. The two bedrooms with rear windows have stunning views over Loch Indaal and the hills beyond. There is a family bathroom on the first floor with bath and thermostatic over bath shower, an ensuite wet room to the master bedroom with aqualisa thermostatic shower and a cloakroom downstairs with toilet and basin.
The fully enclosed private garden catches the sun throughout the day. There are lounger chairs and a table for outdoor dining, a BBQ, outside lighting and a fire pit for keeping away the evening chill and the midges when you feel like sitting outside stargazing. Parking is available at the front of the property. The house is available for weekly rental throughout the year. Shorter lets may be available in the low season – please contact us for details. Rosgorm is a no-smoking property and unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets.
