Four winds is a former coastguard station overlooking impressive parts of the Atlantic ocean and the scenic village of Portnahaven with the Rhinns of Islay lighthouse from 1825.
Nearby services include a shop/post office, a pub serving food/local beverages daily, a tea room and a colony of seals in the bay singing you to sleep at night. The bus service runs smoothly, but a car will more easily let you enjoy the geographically spread pleasures of the island.
At your interior disposal is a small kitchen with stove/oven, fridge/freezer, breakfast/dinner table and a bathroom including toilet/hotwater shower. Upstairs, you'll rest/sleep comfortably in the Japanese futon bed (140 cm) or sit down at the table enjoying the local whisky/view.
